Premium ADA Braille Restroom Signs

These braille restroom signs adhere to ADA regulations.

These Premium ADA compliant signs have raised / tactile lettering, raised / tactile symbols and use grade II Braille. They are our highest quality signs. The standard color for restroom signs is blue/white, however you may purchase them in any color you choose.

Braille Signs are required by ADA regulations. The law requires that all areas, both public and privately owned that are accessible to the general population, post a variety of tactile Braille signs. Tactile Braille signs can be basic or elaborate and can match your décor. All signs have raised letters on a contrasting background color that you choose.
ADA wall mounted signage guidelines:
-San serif lettering
-Raised/tactile lettering
-Grade II Braille
-Text minimun height of 5/8” tall, maximum of 2” tall.
-Matte or other non-glare finish
-Text must contrast with the background

The standard indoor restroom sign size is 8" x 8". Note that the graphics shown are of the 8 x 8 inch signs. Larger signs will have slightly different proportions because in order to follow Braille standards the Braille must stay the same size no matter how large the sign. Please call us for sizes not shown or for different layouts / text. We would be happy to make any sign to your specifications. All our restroom signs come with an adhesive backing.
