When purchasing a tag, you may choose between any of our standard fasteners (backings) for no additional cost. The standard pin fastener is still the most common type of name tag fastener purchased. We also offer the plastic pin, clip fastener and the military style fasteners in this category. While many name tag companies melt the plastic on the fastener to the back of the tag, we have found that this method dramatically reduces the strength of the connection and will, in many cases, break off. In an effort to overcome this problem, all of our fasteners are chemically welded to the back of the plastic for a very secure connection.
Our magnetic tag fasteners have a metal plate attached to the back of the tag and a powerful magnet attachment. The tag is placed on the outside of the garment and the magnet is placed on the inside. The attraction securely holds the tag in place even through the thickest of suit coats. While pins and clips can put holes or otherwise damage a garment, the magnet leaves the garment untouched.
